Lexi Muniak

Registered Psychotherapist

My priority is to create a safe, compassionate and respectful space; one where you feel comfortable exploring your concerns.

Passionate about holding space for individuals navigating life’s challenges, I focus on meeting you where you are with empathy, openness, acceptance and non-judgmental listening. I am here to support you in managing overwhelming feelings, setbacks, and patterns of behaviour with guidance and therapeutic tools, while also empowering you to draw on your inner resources and strengths to create meaningful change.

I have experience supporting individuals with anxiety, depression, stress, coping skills, emotion regulation, self-esteem, and life transitions. I draw primarily from the therapeutic techniques of Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion Focused Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, and Person-Centered Therapy.

I recognize the courage and strength it takes to reach out for support. I commend you for taking this step and I would be honoured to support you on your journey. If you are interested in or curious about starting therapy, I invite you to reach out today to see if I am a good fit for you.

I am a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. I have a Master of Arts degree in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Brock University.
